On Candlemas, February 2nd, in the parish of St. Joseph in Lištani, blessing of the chapel of permanent Eucharistic Adoration, which is located in the house where the leaders of the diocesan Spiritual and Pastoral Center Sv. Josip are situated.
The rite of blessing and the first Holy Mass in the newly opened worship space was led by parish priest Ivo Martinović.
“This place of prayer, adoration and thanksgiving was created in the desire that all those who come here, as well as those for whom prayer is offered, be enlightened by the light of Jesus and receive His peace, His giving and consolation, since the highest prayer is the one that transforms the worshiper to the One in front of whom one is kneeling”, said parish priest Martinović during the Holy Mass and encouraged those interested from other parishes and dioceses to come and pray.
The Eucharist was also attended by members of the Emanuel prayer community, who meet once a week for a prayer meeting at the Spiritual and Pastoral Centre led by rev. Ivo, and several parishioners and members of the parish choir from Lištani.
