Priest of the Banja Luka diocese, parish priest in the religious community of the Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Sasina, near Sanski Most, Rev. Adolf Višaticki celebrated his 80th birthday on April 14th.
The Thanksgiving Holy Mass was led by the Bishop of Banja Luka, Msgr. Franjo Komarica in concelebration with the celebrant and his brother Rev. Karlo Višaticki and three other priests. The second brother of Rev. Adolf, mr. Josip Višaticki and the nuns Missionaries of God’s Mercy from Sasina, also participated in the Holy Mass.
After the Eucharistic celebration, birthday celebration continued with a joint snack prepared by the sisters, in the parish hall.
Rev. Adolf was born on April 14th 1941. in Čatrnja – Bosanska Gradiška parish. He attended theological studies in Đakovo, where he was ordained a priest in 1968. He worked in many parishes of the Banja Luka diocese, and today he is a parish priest in Sasina.
It is interesting to mention that he is one of the four priests from the same family – with Rev. Franjo, Rev. Karlo and the late Rev. Kazimir, which is a unique case in the history of the Banja Luka diocese.
